BMOP returns to the concert stage in style, with a special concert event to kick off celebrations of a quarter-century of BMOP. Pulling Out All the Stops, BMOP's first live concert since 2020, showcases the power and glory of the Symphony Hall organ as it is seldom presented: as a vital element of contemporary expression. World-renowned organ soloist Paul Jacobs joins the BMOP orchestra for an evening of 20th-century organ masterpieces and iconic organ solos reimagined for orchestra.
BMOP is proud to offer free general admission to this concert; seats can be reserved through the Symphony Hall Box Office beginning Monday, December 20, 2021.
Celebrating a Quarter-Century of BMOP
This concert—the first of BMOP’s landmark quarter-century season—celebrates friends and supporters of the organization who have made its first 25 years possible. BMOP is pleased to dedicate the concert program in memory of Ellis L. Phillips III, longtime BMOP Board Chair and supporter, and to celebrate our anniversary with pre- and post-concert events to honor composers, musicians, supporters, and friends of BMOP.
BMOP is committed to creating a safe and healthy environment at all our performances. In accordance with the policies set out by the City of Boston and Symphony Hall, proof of full vaccination (two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine) is required for all audience members over the age of 12. Masks that cover the nose and mouth are also required at all venues. For more details, please visit Symphony Hall's COVID Health & Safety page.
